Community Care Services
The Order Desk is responsible for providing quality
customer service to clients in the community. We service the
Community Care Access Centre, Nestlé/OMS At Home Nutrition Delivery
Program, School Boards, Ottawa's Paramedics Services, physician
clinics, retirement and long term care facilities. The team has
been trained to process orders tailored to our clients' needs; from
processing orders to providing product information and equipment
troubleshooting. In-services and product knowledge sessions
are given regularly to make sure that each team member is
up-to-date with the latest products and procedures.
For the past several years, we have been servicing the Community
Care Access Centre for the regions of Ottawa, Eastern Counties,
North Lanark/North Grenville, Brockville and Gananoque, providing
medical equipment and supplies to their clients.
In collaboration with Nestlé Nutrition, we have established the
Nestlé/OMS At Home Nutrition Delivery Program*. This program is
open to clients throughout the province, as well as HealthCare
Centres and Cystic Fibrosis clinics. The clients may contact us for
Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition products and receive a delivery to
their home within 72 hours.
We provide schools of every level throughout Ontario with first
aid and pandemic supplies. Physicians and community health centres
rely on OMS for everyday supplies, emergency deliveries and medical
instruments and furniture. Furthermore, retirement and nursing
homes in the capital region and outlining areas are supplied with
incontinence supplies and fall prevention equipment.
